Lisa's Tyler Hamilton put in a strong ride to take second place in the Prologue to the 56th Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré yesterday (6th June).

For Steve's Nightowlers, David Miller finished eleventh at 11.65s, one place ahead of George Hincapie of Thomas's Tiger Team (at 12.38s) while Sureshot Stuart O'Grady was seventeenth at 15.19s.

The first road stage ended in the expected big bunch sprint and Stuart O'Grady was second fastest on the day for Sophia's Sureshots.

Tiger Team rider George Hincapie was eleventh today for Thomas, Lisa's Tyler Hamilton came 22nd and Nighowler Ivan Basso placed 68th; all in the main bunch.

Overall, Hamilton still holds second place. O'Grady is tenth and Hincapie thirteenth.

Highest Nightowler on GC is Basso in 35th place.

Sureshot Stuart O'Grady featured in the finishing sprint again today, to take third for Sophia's Sureshots.

Richard Virenque showed well at the front of the main field and came home eleventh for Lisa's Ready Steady Riders. Further back, first Tiger Team Rider to finish for Thomas was Nicholas Jalabert in 48th place and Nightowler Ivan Basso was 68th for Steve.

Overall, Tyler Hamilton drops to third place for Lisa and O'Grady improves to seventh.

Best placed of Thomas's riders is Jalabert in 47th and Basso is the leading Nightowler in 50th.

After a quiet day for our riders, Tyler Hamilton again put in a powerful individual performance for Lisa's Ready Steady Riders to come second in todays time trial up Mont Ventoux.

In twentieth place, Victor Hugo Peña Grisales was today's fastest Sureshot. Best Nightowler as Ivan Basso who took 29th place and George Hincapie placed 33rd for Thomas's Tiger Team.

Overall, Hamilton regained his hold on second place after today's stage.

Further back, Stuart O'Grady is showing well for Sophia in 33rd on GC, Basso is 45th and Hincapie is 49th.

Sophia's Stuart O'Grady and Thomas's George Hincapie stayed away to the end of yesterday's stage to contest the sprint with O'Grady having the edge on the day.

Tyler Hamilton finished in 25th place for Lisa, safely in the main field that also included Nightowler David Millar in 69th.

Overall, Hamilton remains second while today's exploits lift O'Grady into eighth. In 36th place, Hincapie is best placed of the Tiger Team riders and Ivan Basso is leading Nightowler in 48th.

At the end of Today's mountainous stage, Nightowler Ivan Basso came home second for Steve.

In the leading group, Richard Virenque was ninth for Lisa's Ready Steady Riders. Further back, first Tiger Team rider home was George Hincapie in 30th, just one place ahead of best placed Sureshot Victor Hugo Peña Grisales.

Overall, with just one day left to race, Ready Steady Rider Tyler Hamilton looks secure in second place for Lisa.

Basso moved up to 25th on GC today, just ahead of Peña in 28th and Hincapie in 32nd.

Jan Ullrich pulled off an impressive first stage win yesterday (12th June) for Lisa's Ready Steady Riders to kick off the 86th Tour de Suisse. Beaten into second place in the five-man sprint was Sophia's Sureshot Oscar Cammenzind.

In twentieth place, Pavel Tonkov was first home for Thomas's Tiger team. Bradley Wiggins finished 121st, the only Nightowler to start the race.

Robbie McEwan won the bunch sprint today for Lisa's Ready Steady Riders. Robert Hunter of Thomas's Tiger Team was third.

Oscar Camenzind was eleventh in the big bunch for Sophia and lone Nightowler Bradley Wiggins was 125th at 1'27.

Overall, Ready Steady Rider Jan Ullrich retained his lead and Camenzind remains second.

Wiggins is 126th.

Stuart O'Grady took the final stage win of the Dauphiné for Sophia in a fine solo effort.

Back in thirteenth was Ready Steady Rider Tyler Hamilton and George Hincapie finished 36th for Thomas. No Nightowlers finished the stage.

In the final overall classification, Hamilton claimed second place for Lisa.

O'Grady was highest overall Sureshot, in 21st, and Hincapie took 32nd for Thomas.

Ready Steady Rider Christian Vandevelde was one of the six riders in second place in today's opening Team Time Trial.

Robert Hunter won today's stage for Thomas's Tiger Team.

Sureshot Bobby Julich was sixth on the stage, Jan Ullrich took eleventh place for Lisa's Ready Steady Riders and sole Nightowler Bradly Wiggins came home 130th.

Ullrich still leads overall, with Oscar Camenzind second for Sophia. Julich is sixth on GC with fellow Sureshot Axel Merckx in twelfth and Pavel Tonkov thirteenth for Thomas.

Wiggins is down in 126th place overall.

Ready Steady Rider Robbie McEwan continued our run of stage wins by taking his second victory at the head of today's bunch sprint.

Robert Hunter was in the hunt for Thomas at sixth today while Bobby Julich was best Sureshot in 24th place. Nightowler Bradley Wiggins was 119th today.

Overall, no significant changes today as the bunch was over a hundred strong: Jan Ullrich leads for Lisa, Oscar Camenzind is second for Sophia. Julich is sixth on GC with fellow Sureshot Axel Merckx in twelfth. Officially Pavel Tonkov dropped a place to fourteenth for Thomas for reasons that remain obscure since he's still 25s behind Ullrich along with the eight other riders in 7th to 15th positions.

Bradley Wiggins moved up to 119th.

Amazingly, for the fifth day in a row we had a stage winner in the Swiss tour. Today it was again Robert Hunter who soloed to victory for Thomas.

Sureshot Bobby Julich finished in the the main field in eigth place while Lisa's Jan Ullrich was eleveth. Still struggling home each day, Nightowler Bradley Wiggins was 123rd today.

Still not much change overall: Jan Ullrich leads for Lisa, Oscar Camenzind is second for Sophia. Julich is sixth on GC with fellow Sureshot Axel Merckx in twelfth.

Tiger Team rider Pavel Tonkov dropped six seconds today which pushed him down to sixteenth overall. Wiggins is 122nd.

No more stage placings for us until the last day, when Jan Ullrich took the final individual time trial in impressive style.

Sureshot Bobby Julich wasn't far off the pace today in fifth place while Nightowler Bradley Wiggins had his best result of the tour: he was fifteenth fastest, two places ahead of Tomas's Robert Hunter.

Overall, Ullrich's win today gave him back the Gold Jersey he'd lost in the mountains. Oscar Camenzind finished the tour in ninth overall for Sophia, with Julich thirteenth.

By the end of the race, Pavel Tonkov had sunk to twentieth on GC for Thomas and Wiggins was 99th overall.
